A railway locomotive has been named after The Clash frontman Joe Strummer at a ceremony in Bristol.
The Class 47 Diesel, 47828, which is owned by Cotswold Rail, was named after the singer, who died aged 50 in 2002.
Joe Strummer's wife Lucinda unveiled the locomotive nameplate dedicated to him.
The naming was part of the Cotswold Rail Severn Caper Railtour, 1Z56, Wolverhampton to Newport via Bristol, 12 February 2005.
